ABOUT US
We are a privately owned Farm, first founded by the Weem's family in 1822. The plantation's main house and it's many outbuildings were completed as seen today in 1848. Perfectly situated in historic Luella, present day Locust Grove, Georgia.
Through the years, the farm and its many acres have seen prosperity in both Cotton and Tobacco and served as a landmark for the community. It historic beauty was preserved, as it was spared from fire during Sherman's march to the sea. Instead used as a civil war hospital because of it's ties to the free masons. Now, beautifully restored to its former grandeur, the grounds invite you to take a stroll back in time, under the branches of 200-year old trees. The main house calls for you to Come, sit a spell, and take in all it's southern charm.
